The item has no extras, no sketches, no scripts, just the original work with revised colors. The only 'addition' is the slipcase, which has this disappoing design with 5 of the main characters: The Comedian, Silk Spectre, Dr. Manhattan, Nite Owl and Ozymandias - for some unexplained reason they forgot Rorschach. The top of the slipcase has the authors names and the botton has a rorschach inkblot. So, what you have here is basically an insanely expensive item, a monster that isn't a faithful reproduction of the original issues nor offer any real upgrade or bonus - IMO this is a pointless version.
Great hard cover addition. I got this for my boyfriend and he teared up. He loved everything about it. It came well packaged and no damage whatsoever. This format, 12 slim hardcovers in a slip-case, beats Absolute Watchmen. Like the same format on the new edition of The Dark Knight Returns, it flat-out rocks for readability.
